The track–bridge interaction is a fundamental concern in the field of railway engineering, which plays an important role optimization design bridges, especially for heavy-haul and high-speed bridges. This paper systematically introduces research status CWR large-span bridges China. evolution process model from simplest elastic bar linear longitudinal resistance to complex beam–rail considering loading history described. In this paper, modeling methods five types long-span namely simply supported beam bridge, continuous cable-stayed arch suspension are introduced, characteristics force distribution under analyzed. discusses practical application theory on extra-large-span aspects system dynamic performance evaluation safety evaluation. special conditions such as earthquake load, temperature shrinkage creep superposition multiple loads emphasized. It provides guidance further improvement future.
